How to retain scrolled view position, instead of defaulting to the top when navigating back in settings?

In Settings -> Apps -> Installed apps, if I go to check the Advanced options of an app and then navigate back, the view always defaults to the top position in the list of my apps. I think it makes more sense to retain the scroll view, especially if the scroll view is near the bottom of the list.

This happens to many other aspects of Windows as well, such as folders in file explorer, etc.

I wonder if there's a way to change its behavior.

    Hi,

Unfortunately, there’s no option to change this behavior. Windows Settings and File Explorer don’t currently save the scroll position in session state. Unlike web apps that can preserve scroll position, native apps often reload the entire view. I recommend submitting feedback by pressing Windows + F to open the Feedback Hub app. This will help the Windows team consider adding the feature in future updates.
