Hello Stoian. Microsoft has recognized scenarios and acknowledged bugs associated with Windows 11 update KB5063878 (OS Build 26100.4946), leading to SSD data corruption and drive disappearance. Users experiencing issues with read/write operations on certain SSDs while transferring large files or batches of files that were over 60% full have reported symptoms such as unreadable partitions, RAW (non-existent) file systems, and inaccessible SSDs, and seems especially prominent on SSDs utilizing Phison NAND controllers, though possibly not limited to them.

There were no Microsoft official advisories to perform an uninstall on the update, though Microsoft is working on this with the collaboration of SSD manufacturers. As the situation develops, and especially if you have developed symptoms, we would advise you to pause updates, reinstall the KB update KB5063878, and backup your key data immediately.
