What you can do Instead
Run the Surface Diagnostic Toolkit to check for hardware/software issues.
Make sure Windows and drivers are fully updated.
Use Task Manager to monitor high resource usage.
Avoid soft surfaces and consider using a cooling pad.
If issues persist, try a clean Windows installation.
Note make sure to backup first before doing clean windows installation.
