I don’t think people will waste time here if it it not urgent !! I am getting serious eyestrain and migraine even using Windows 11 for few minutes in all latest computers which is affecting my work and my life.

However, my work computer, HP ProBook 445 G7 with Windows 10 pro installed in 2020, works fine with me with no eyestrain and migraine. I have been using windows for 30  years since windows 3.1. I am 45 years old.

Therefore, But I intentionally switched to Windows 10 on my latest computer Lenovo notebook E14 to look for a solution but still experiencing the eyestrain and headaches/migraine . I also tried to connect E14 to an external monitor but there was no use. It is not about the hardware problem because I tried to use an Lenovo Desktop made in 2013 with new Windows 10 installed with an external monitor , I feel the same eyestrain and migraine. But it works fine if I use an old note book computer Lenovo G50 with Windows 8.1 connecting the same monitor above.

I went eye doctors twice but there was no clue . My eyes are normal.

In today’s world, computers are necessities for life and works. As per internet search, it is likely due to temporal dithering and Pulse-width modulation in latest version of windows 10 and windows 11. Windows 10 and Windows 11 must be changed for the display technology so make me feel like the above.

I don’t experience eyestrain and migraine when using the HP Probook 445 G7 (Windows 10 pro) and Lenovo G50 (Windows 8.1) with Windows installed many years ago.

I believe Microsoft is a caring company which looks after minority and values human right. Please take a look at https://ledstrain.org/ , there are so many people are experiencing the same as me.

Please show your support to us. We can’t live without computers and Windows !! Please contact me!!

Hello, I’m Virginia a fellow Windows user.

Ensure the screen is set up correctly with the correct resolution. Also ensure clear type is enabled.

Search the PC for cleartype & click on the result, follow the various instructions to tweak the settings.

Also ensure the screen is bright enough, increase your font size & look always from the screen to something in the distance to reset your eyes.

As we’re a user to user forum Microsoft will not see your comments/suggestions. I would recommend sending Microsoft feedback via the app - Windows key + F key or via the web:
