Hello Lynn. With Outlook apps for Windows moving to the new Outlook for Windows starting in 2025, it can sometimes be confusing to have both classic and the new Outlook installed on the same computer. If your intention is to reinstall Classic Outlook only, first check to see if it’s still on your system by searching for “Outlook” and looking for the version indicated as "(classic)."
If you can’t find it, or want a clean reinstall, you can simply download the standalone version of Classic Outlook installer straight from Microsoft. Go to the official Microsoft Support Classic Outlook install page, select your language, and follow the prompts to install Classic Outlook. Depending on your Microsoft 365 subscription, Classic Outlook could also be part of the offline installer that’s also available through your account.
If you want to proceed with a classic version, make sure to uninstall the New Outlook first to avoid conflicts, and disable any “New Outlook” toggle, where applicable.
