First, could you let us know:
The exact model of your Surface Pro (e.g.Pro 7, Pro 9)?
Whether you’re using the official Surface Type Cover or a third-party keyboard?
If the keyboard shows any signs of power, like backlighting?
Whether it works in UEFI mode (outside of Windows)?
Here are some things you can try
Clean the connector pins on both the keyboard and surface.
Perform a two-button shutdown (Power + Volume Up for 15 seconds).
Run the Surface Diagnostic Toolkit from Microsoft Support to check for hardware/software issues.
Check for Windows and driver updates via Settings > Windows Update.
Try another keyboard (if available) to help isolate the issue.
