Dear @Ray Lasorsa,
Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Q&A Community.
The best way to do this for all tabs is to group the sheets. This allows you to make a change on one sheet, and it will automatically apply to all the others.
- Click on the first monthly tab (e.g., "January").
- Hold down the Shift key on your keyboard.
- Click on the last monthly tab (e.g., "December"). All the monthly tabs should now be highlighted and grouped.
- In the active sheet, find the cell containing the formula =IF(MONTH(TODAY())=12,YEAR(TODAY())+1,YEAR(TODAY())) . This is typically a single cell at the top of the sheet that displays the year.
- With that cell selected, delete the entire formula and simply type in 2026.
- Press Enter.
Because the tabs were grouped, this change will be automatically applied to the same cell on every single monthly tab. To ungroup the sheets, simply click on any tab that is not highlighted. You can repeat this process for any year you want in the future. Should you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out. We're always here to help. Have a wonderful day!
