How to make international calls (using Teams) now that Skype is no more?

I had a Skype account for year, paid monthly subs and could make or receive international calls from Brazil to the UK, US or Europe with no problem. MicroSoft says it's possible to transfer the account to Teams, but I have done that and no sign anywhere of my existing or non longer existing credits, no of how to add credits nor to be able to make and receive international calls. I even had a fixed number for which I paid a subscription.
Does anyone know how to do this on Teams, or on any other provider?
Thanking you kindly in advance.

    Hi @Jonathan Dear

Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.

Even if Microsoft officially retired Skype in May 2025, please don’t worry too much since your credits and subscriptions are not lost. We kindly suggest you follow these steps:

1-Sign in to Teams with your Skype credentials

When signing into Team, please use the same email, Skype name, or phone number you used for Skype to ensure your Skype contacts, chats, and credit balance are transferred.

2-Access the Skype Dial Pad in Teams

Once signed in, go to the Calls section in Teams. You should see the Skype Dial Pad, which allows you to use your existing Skype credits to make international calls

    3-Reactivate Credits if Inactive

If your credits are currently inactive, you can reactivate them by signing in to Teams and accessing the Skype Dial Pad

    4-Fixed Number (Skype Number)

If you had a paid Skype number, it still be accessible via Teams. However, for your information, new Skype numbers are no longer issued, and existing ones will remain active until their subscription expires.

You can read this article Moving from Skype to Microsoft Teams Free - Microsoft Support which provides more detailed guidelines with illustration.

I hope this information is helpful. If there's anything else I can help you with, please feel free to reach out again.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Teams Free application does not provide the option to make phone calls. However, if you have remaining credit or an active calling subscription then you can make phone calls from the Skype Dial Pad site on the Web.

    https://calling.web.skype.com/

Just be sure to sign in to this site with exactly the same account as you have used with Skype.

In the case your credit was deactivated due to not being used for the last 180 days, you can reactivate this credit from this reactivation site:

    https://secure.skype.com/portal/settings/credit/reactivate
