I had to uninstall Teams as my Microphone would not work in the application on the Remote desktop. Now I cannot re-install Teams without access permissions from system admin. I need access to Teams application to take client calls and need immediate assistance.

Dear Asa Sathe (Concentrix CVG Customer Management),

Based on your description, it appears that administrative permissions are required to reinstall Teams on your system. This is a common configuration in managed environments where software installations are restricted to ensure compliance and security. We recommend contacting your IT administrator or support desk to request elevated access or to have Teams reinstalled on your behalf.

Regarding the original microphone issue within Remote Desktop, it may be helpful to verify that audio redirection is enabled in your RDP settings and that your local device’s microphone is properly detected before launching Teams.

I hope this helps. Just kindly tick Accept Answer that others in the community facing similar issues can easily find the solution. Your contribution is highly appreciated.

    Best regards,
