I do not have a microsoft account using my gmail but today I started getting emails that was showing a digital code for a password reset so I decided to logon myself and finished the process of getting the password changed to prevent the unknown creator from accessing the microsoft account using my gmail account. Unfortunely the date of birth entered was 2013 so the microsoft account is underaged hence I can't take over the entire account info. Is there a way for Microsoft to prevent this unknown user from using my gmail address? I guess I could delete the account but they could just do this again.Help!

    Hello,

Check if your email address is in a data breach

Prevention of email data leaks is major part of securing businesses, and allowing them to thrive within an ecosystem. It's shared responsibility, so practising mindfulness when entering emails can prevent data leaks in email & attachments.

Practise strong password policies and have MFA enabled for applications containing your daily work.
