    Hi @Anders Grönwald (Ambiento),

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A Forum.

Based on your description, to help you find the suitable solution, could you please share a few more detail by the following?

    • Which version of the Outlook that you're experiencing? (e.g., Outlook on the web, New Outlook desktop app). If you're using New Outlook desktop app, could you kindly double check to see that function has still appeared correctly on the web version?
    • Could you describe the behavior in more detail? For example, when you click on an email, is the Mark as Read button disabled or missing?
    • Could you confirm whether you've checked the settings as shown below and whether the issue still persists?

    • Could you share some screenshots of the issue or your settings to help us better understand the behavior?

In the meantime, while I'm not sure which troubleshooting steps you've done, but I'd recommend a few that you may want to infer:

1- With the Outlook desktop app

    • Please make sure that the office are on the latest version.
    • Try switching back to Classic Outlook by toggling off the New Outlook option, then switching back again to check the issue is still persist. User's image
    • You can try Repair Office via Control Panel > Programs and features > Click on your Office version > Click Change > try the quick repair (if it nor work, you can try the online repair and it can take around 10 minutes or more) > restart your computer

2- With the new Outlook on the web, you can try sign-out and sign-in back, clearing your browser cache or login on the incognito tab.

Thank you for your time, I'm looking forward to your response.
