Bookings not properly syncing with calendars

Hello,

We are currently facing challenges with Bookings not properly syncing with our calendars. One of my colleagues is experiencing issues with her calendar not synchronising correctly with Bookings.

This is a serious problem: she has already had two appointments scheduled at the same time, which is neither practical nor logical. I have looked into whether the issue is due to Bookings lacking this functionality, or if it is a synchronisation problem. Unfortunately, I have not been able to find a concrete solution.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this issue? The sooner, the better. At the moment, she has to keep both her Outlook calendar and Bookings calendar open at the same time. And while this works to some extent, it is still not a long-term solution, nor the experience we want our colleagues to struggle with.

Any help is greatly appreciated :-)

    Hi @Alexander
Thanks for sharing the issue in detail. I’ve taken time to investigate this topic thoroughly, and based on the information available, if your setup follows Microsoft’s recommended configuration, then the issue you're facing may reflect a limitation or inconsistency in how Bookings handles calendar sync, especially in organizational environments. During my research, I found that many users are experiencing similar problems, which suggests this may be a broader issue that Microsoft needs to address more directly.

I strongly suggest submitting feedback to Microsoft via the Feedback Portal. There’s already a post describing this exact issue: We would like to see Microsoft Bookings implement the ability to prevent duplicate reservations for resources specified as “locations” on the Services page. · Community You can upvote the post to help increase visibility. I’ve already voted for it myself, and I truly hope that with enough user engagement, Microsoft will prioritize a fix or provide clearer guidance. Here are some related threads and documentation that may offer useful insights:

Thanks again for raising this and if you decide to post your own feedback, feel free to share the link here. I’d be happy to support it.
