So I have been trying to change from legacy to uefi for the past couple hours. I wiped my disk and then converted to gpt from mbr. I then changed my bios to what I think is asus uefi. Csm disabled and booting from windows uefi. I have a media creation tool and put windows 1022h2 on a usb stick and plugged it in but when I boot from it in bios I receive this blue screen. Not bsod just pure blue.

I have tried it on an already installed version of windows but I get this message that says

recovery

This problem can happen when a removable storage device is removed while it's in use or is failing. Properly connecting any removable storage and restarting your PC may fix this problem

Disabling CSM Support in your BIOS is the correct method to switch BIOS to UEFI from Legacy, do you then see the Secure Boot option on the same tab in BIOS?

That blue screen usually indicates the bootable USB you are using to install Windows from is corrupt.

The best option would be to create a new bootable Windows USB on another USB flash drive with the Media Creation Tool, then try starting the instalaltion again.

The 'Other OS' setting is used when you are installing Windows, then the Windows UEFI setting is used to boot from the internal drive.
