How to fix Outlook Classic

Outlook wont repair itself.

Hi,

Pleases refer to the steps below that may help with resolving the launching issue of Outlook.

Navigate to: HKLM/Software/Microsoft/Windows NT/Current Version/Image File Execution Options/ and delete the following:

• excel.exe
• onenote.exe
• outlook.exe
• powerpnt.exe
• winword.exe

Once done, please perform a quick repair then restart your device for the changes to take effect.

Try opening Word and click File, Account, Update Options, Update Now. Make sure you have the latest Office updates.

In case it's a corrupt profile try creating a new Outlook Profile, https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/create-an-outlook-profile-f544c1ba-3352-4b3b-be0b-8d42a540459d. When you start Outlook you can hold down the Shift key to switch between profiles or see what profiles you have.

If you cannot get far enough to create a new profile try creating a blank profile.

1. Right click the Windows Start button and click Run
2. Type the command below and press enter to create a blank profile

   outlook.exe /pim blankprofile
   

You can always start Outlook by holding down the Shift key to switch between profiles.
