Old e-mail address associated with a Power BI Data Analyst Associate certificate

I earned the Power BI Data Analyst Associate certificate last year, using an e-mail address that my company migrated over to a new e-mail address. How can I attach the cert to my new e-mail address so that I can take the renewal assessment?

    Nice to meet you! My name is Randy and I'm an independent advisor.

    To move your Power BI Data Analyst Associate certificate to your new email, first sign in to the Microsoft Certification Dashboard with the old email you used, then go to Account Settings and add your new email, setting it as primary so future notices and renewals go there, if you no longer have access to the old account, contact Microsoft Certification Support to request merging your old and new profiles by providing your MCID, name, and proof of identity.

    Do you still have access to the old login, or was it completely retired by your company?

    Got it, You did the right thing by contacting Microsoft Certification Support since the old email was retired, they’re the only ones who can merge your certification history with your new account.
