How do I fix There is not enough temporary space reserved to download the software. You can use the Configuration Manager control panel applet to adjust the available temporary space. I have tried looking online but I am on a school issued computer so there is a local admin so I cannot clear cache.

Anyone have anything?

    Dear Hrishikesh Nadgouda,

Thank you for reaching out regarding the error message: "There is not enough temporary space reserved to download the software. You can use the Configuration Manager control panel applet to adjust the available temporary space."

We understand how frustrating this can be, especially when working on a school-issued device with limited administrative access.

To help resolve this issue, we recommend the following steps:

    Access Configuration Manager Settings

Open the Control Panel and search for Configuration Manager.

      Navigate to the **Cache** tab.

If accessible, increase the cache size to accommodate larger software packages (e.g., 10,000 MB).

**Clear Temporary Cache (if permissions allow)**

Within the same Cache tab, select **Delete Files** to clear existing temporary data.

Confirm the deletion and attempt the installation again.

However, since your device is managed by a local administrator, you may not have the necessary permissions to perform these actions. In this case, we recommend contacting your school's IT support team or system administrator. They can assist with adjusting the Configuration Manager settings or clearing the cache on your behalf.

If the above response helps answer your question, remember to "Accept Answer" so that others in the community facing similar issues can easily find the solution. Your contribution is highly appreciated.

    Best regards,

    Harry Phan
