    Hi @Hp Pavilion G6

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Q&A Forum and for sharing the error message you’re seeing when trying to install the Office Deployment Tool.

It would be helpful to know whether you’re using one of the default configuration files from the tool or a configuration file you created.

When I checked the Office Customization Tool - Microsoft 365 Apps admin center, I didn’t find an option for Office 2016. That makes me wonder if perhaps you created the configuration file manually instead of exporting it from the tool.

If that’s the case, could you share what your configuration file looks like so we can review it together?

In the meantime, you may also find this article helpful for guidance on creating a configuration file: Overview of the Office Deployment Tool - Microsoft 365 Apps | Microsoft Learn

This will help us better understand how your setup is defined and if the configuration plays any role in the behavior you described.

Please understand that our initial reply may not always immediately resolve the issue. However, with your help and more detailed information, we can work together to find a solution.

I'm looking forward to your response.
