    Hi Knut Rydland,

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A Forum!

Have a good day and I hope you're doing well!

Thank you for reaching out and providing the screenshot. I truly appreciate you taking the time to explain the issue. I understand how frustrating it must be when you're trying to add your Gmail account to Outlook and it feels like there are no options available, especially when you just want everything to work seamlessly. I'm here to help get this sorted out for you.

To help diagnose this better, could you please let me know what Microsoft 365 Business subscription plan you're currently using? For example, is it Business Basic, Business Standard, or another one? You can check this by logging into your Microsoft account at account.microsoft.com and looking under Subscriptions, or by asking your IT department for confirmation.

For more details on the different plans and pricing, you can refer to this resource: Find the best Microsoft 365 plan for your business. It breaks down the features clearly, including which plans support desktop apps.

To clarify, if you want to add any account to the desktop app, the first account added must be a Microsoft 365 account with a subscription that enables desktop app usage.

As a moderator, I don't have direct access to your account details, such as your exact subscription plan or any surrounding errors, so any information you can provide will be incredibly helpful. I completely understand this might feel like a hassle, and I'm truly sorry for the inconvenience. Please report back after checking with your IT department, and if you have any additional questions, don't hesitate to reply. I'll do my absolute best to assist you within my capabilities.

    Hi

I have now upgraded subscription plan to Standard plan, ref. order ID below. When opening the Outlook now, it still have no option for add another email account. Maybe I have to wait until tomorrow, waiting for the "system" to update with new settings/subscription . .?
