Hello;

I have used P L since installing W 11 H E. Over time it has slowly gotten better, on the beginning of July I got a new cell phone.

The new phone was recognized, I verified through 'Authenticator' and all was well until yesterday Aug 26th approximately 730 AM EDT when I was notified of an update was available through the apps Widget, installed it, rebooted, all was well, the user interface beside the start menu had clearer pictures.

Played a game on line for a couple hours, shut down the PC.

Restarted my PC around 100 PM EDT and when I opened the start menu, the user interface for the phone was gone, and no matter what I do I can not bring it back, not even through system restore, which I just made one Sunday night, it was erased and the only restore point now is the one the Update for the phone link app updated.

Phone Link Pop Out Before

Phone Link Pop Out After

I have run out of ideas anyone got any ideas how I can bring back what I had before?

Or how about a download for the PC version of the Phone App?

Thanks.

    Hi Tim,

    The feature has been pulled and is currently only rolling out to Insider builds. When a feature is pulled, it usually means there are still issues that need to be addressed before it’s released to everyone. My guess is that it might return in Windows 11 version 25H2. Unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be a safe way to restore it for now.
