I couldn't connect to a network when installing Windows 11. I found a cmd fix on the internet and now I can't get out of this virtual network adapter. I've tried restarting and I'm not sure how to fix this. Please help me connect to a network.

    Hi, good day!

Are you trying to connect to the internet via Wi-Fi or LAN cable?

Please try the method below if it helps.

    Open Device Manager

    Expand the Network adapters

Find the Network driver that isn't functioning in the list

To find out if a network adapter is functioning properly or not, right-click on it, choose Properties, and then scroll down to Device Status.

Right click it and select Update

Click "Browse my computer for driver software"

Select "Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer"

Make sure to put a check mark "Show compatible hardware"

Select one to install, then continue experimenting with different versions until you discover one that works.

Click Next then restart your computer

I look forward to receiving your update and I'm willing to collaborate with you till we resolve the issue. Do keep me informed.

What is the exact make and model of your computer? Press Start then search System Information.

Please take a screenshot of the resulting window and post it in your next response.

Download first the latest Wireless driver for your device from the link below on another computer and save it to a USB flash drive. Transfer it to your ThinkPad laptop and install it.

    Restart your computer

If this does not work, try Intel version - AX211 Wireless LAN Driver
