Hello @Dale Siviter,
Thank you for posting your valuable question on Microsoft Q&A forum.
May I ask if this is the White hand icon you're seeing?
This icon is not the usual "Raise Hand" reaction. Instead, it's a sign language indicator that appears when Sign Language Mode is enabled in Teams. This feature is designed to help users who use sign language by keeping interpreters visible and prioritized during meetings.
To remove the white waving hand icon:
- Open Microsoft Teams.
- Click the Three dots next to your profile (…) > Go to Settings
- In the Accessibility section > Look for Sign language mode
- Turn off the toggle for Sign language mode.
Alternatively, if you're in a meeting:
- Click the three dots (More) in the meeting controls.
- Select Accessibility settings.
- Disable Sign language mode.
This should remove the waving hand icon from your profile during meetings.
