Hi, Seeking Guidance and Opportunities at Microsoft

Dear Microsoft,

I recently completed my IT education and am very eager to start building my career in the field. However, I have found it challenging to secure opportunities here in Norway, as many positions require prior work experience which I am still working to gain.

I am deeply motivated to prove my skills and commitment, and I am even willing to work on a voluntary basis initially(Free) to demonstrate my value and dedication. My goal is to grow within the industry, learn from experienced professionals, and contribute meaningfully to a team.

I would greatly appreciate any guidance or help in connecting with someone involved in recruitment at Microsoft. Even an initial conversation or advice would mean a lot to me.

Thank you very much for your time and consideration.

Sincerely, Ahmed [Moderator edit: Moved from Azure | Azure Advisor ]

    Hey there, ahmed ismail

You could try reaching out to the recruitment team at Microsoft via the Microsoft careers page here: https://careers.microsoft.com/v2/global/en/home.html

Microsoft also has programs for recent graduates who are looking to join the industry. This information can be found here: https://careers.microsoft.com/v2/global/en/programs/students.html

If it is supporting folk, you can gain experience by helping folk in this community or other online communities. This will be a way of sharing and building on knowledge. You can then use the experience gained from this community in job interviews.

If it is software development, you are wanting to get a career in. To get experience, you can develop projects that can be highlighted on GitHub. These projects will allow you to demonstrate and build your knowledge in programming. This can be used in job interviews as you can demonstrate your code.

To build on your knowledge, you can have a look at the learn site here: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/training/career-paths/

    Hope this information helps,
    Nathan
