No notification from Authenticator app when I try to log into my business email

I am no longer getting a notification from my Microsoft authentication app when I try to log into my email. I followed all the instructions online. My date and time are correct on my phone, app is updated and I have notifications turned on. When it gives me the 2 digit code, I do not get a notification to enter the code to verify my identity. Please help!
