I blocked a sender and his emails go to junk now, I've just realised after 30 days they auto delete and therefore I cant find them. Is there a way to retreive them at all?

I need to retrieve old emails from a sender who I blocked as they were unpleasant. Having just worked my way through the folders, I was notified that junk emails auto delete after 30 days. Is there any way these can be retrieved whatsoever?

Is this a personal account or a work/school account?

If it is personal account, unfortunately once deleted in that mattern, it is gone. It works as it is designed to do, the email cannot be recovered.

If this is a work/school account, it might be recoverable, depending on each organization's retention policy. Reach out to your organization's IT support team, they would know what the retention policy is for your organization and can recover for you if it is still within the defined retention period.

Thankyou for your reply. Its my personal account and I've spent a large amount of time this afternoon trying to contact Microsoft to see if they can offer any support and recovery options but this is the closest I got. Thankyou :)
