How to retrieve passwords from Authenticator after they removed saved passwords? Am I too late, is it even possible

I have just tried to sign into something and selected the option of auto fill from Authenticator. Only to realise it no longer has this function. I looked in the app and my saved passwords are knowhere to be found! I understand now that at the beginning of the month they made the switch from Authenticator to edge for passwords to be saved.

is there anyway for me to retrieve these lost passwords?
