Had to change my password on my hotmail account but it won't send me a code to my phone. Says this method is temporarily unavailable. So I created a new hotmail account and livechatted with Lakshya on the 26th. She said I would get information in 12 to 24 hour to my new hotmail to be able to access my original hotmail. It's been 40 hours and no information. Now what?

Hi! I'm sorry you're having trouble accessing your email. To regain access to a Microsoft account without being able to verify with your registered contact methods, you'll need to fill out the account recovery form. You can submit this form twice a day until you regain access to your account:

    1. Visit the next link to get help on how to fill the Microsoft account recovery form successfully:

    https://support.microsoft.com/account-billing/help-with-the-microsoft-account-recovery-form-b19c02d1-a782-dee6-93c3-dc8113b20c42

    1. Provide as much information as possible, such as:
    • Any previous passwords you can remember.
    • Answers to security questions (if applicable).
    • Information about when the account was created (including help with approximate dates).
    • Folder or contact names from your Outlook or Hotmail account.
    1. Submit the form and wait for Microsoft's response, which usually comes within 24 hours.

Using a device and internet connection that you have previously used to access your account can increase your chances of recovering your account.
