After updating my Dell XPS 13 7390 from 10 to 11 I have a message of incompatible drive from Windows Security "AVEOdcnt.sys" that don't allow me to turn on the Memory Integrity. I don't have Dell support. I need to find the updated drive and how to do the update.

AVEOdcnt.sys is reported as a Webcam driver, if you are using an internal webcam in your Dell laptop, below is the support page for your laptop on the Dell website, click the 'Select Drivers' button on that web page, that should list all drivers for your laptop, is there a webcam driver provided there that you can download and manually install?

If you are unable to find that driver, open File Explorer.

    Go to C:\Windows\System32.

    Perform a search for AVEOdcnt.sys

When you find that file, right click it and select Properties.

On the resulting dialog, select the Details tab.

Please provide a screenshot of that Details tab.

    Ok. Now, please do:

    Create a System Restore Point.

Run this command: from admin Command Prompt.

    sc.exe delete AVEO

    Restart Windows.

After restarting Windows, the driver file can be renamed.

"AVEOdcnt.sys" seems to be an outdated driver. If there are no updated versions, you must remove the driver to enable Memory Integrity. Let me know if you need the instructions to delete the driver service and then the .sys file itself.

Post the output of this command:

    reg query "HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class" /f *erfilters* /s
