I can't figure out what microsoft account i have that they keep charging my card for. I can't get a person to talk to. You would think the customer service would be better.

    Hi,

Thanks for bringing this up. As a fellow member of the Microsoft Community, I want to help as much as I can. Just a heads-up, I don’t have access to Microsoft’s internal billing systems or account details, but I can guide you through the steps to figure out what’s going on and how to contact Microsoft Support if needed.

To better understand the situation, may I ask a few quick questions?

    1. Where did you see the charge?

If it came from an email or SMS, it’s important to check if it might be a phishing attempt. These can look convincing, but may not be real Microsoft charges.

If you saw it on a bank or credit card statement, it helps confirm the charge actually went through and is worth checking inside your account.

    1. Have you checked your Microsoft account billing history?

You can go to https://account.microsoft.com/billing and sign in with your account to see if any purchases or subscriptions match the charge.

    1. Are you part of a Microsoft Family group? Sometimes charges can come from a family member’s activity, especially if you’ve shared payment methods.
    2. Do you have any older Microsoft accounts you might have used in the past? The charge may be tied to another account you’ve signed into before on a device. If you don’t know the account, Microsoft has a tool to locate it using your phone number or recovery email: https://account.live.com/username/recover

    Cancel your Microsoft subscription

If you have already contacted your bank and confirmed the charge, I would recommend to contact the Microsoft Billing team to address this issue.

You can contact Microsoft Support by following these steps:

    Visit: https://support.microsoft.com/home/contact

Type "Help with an unexpected charge" in the search bar and press Enter

Scroll down and select "Sign in to contact support" (or "Contact Support" if you're already signed in)

Choose "Other Products" under Product and services

Select "Billing and Payment updates" under Category

Click "Chat with a support agent in your web browser."

    Visit https://support.microsoft.com/home/contact.

Hope that helps. Let me know if you still have questions or if you need help with anything else.
