- Boot into Safe Mode
- From the login screen, hold Shift and click Restart.
- Select Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings > Restart.
- Press F4 to enter Safe Mode.
Remove PIN Requirement
- In Safe Mode, go to Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options.
- Under Windows Hello PIN, click Remove.
Restart Normally- Restart your PC and try logging in again using your password.

Create a New Local Account
- Go to Settings > Accounts > Family & other users.
- Click Add someone else to this PC.
- Choose I don’t have this person’s sign-in info, then Add a user without a Microsoft account.
- Create a new account and try logging in with it.
- Run System File Checker
- Open Command Prompt as Administrator.
- Type: sfc /scannow and press Enter.
- Wait for the scan to complete and follow any instructions.
- Check for Windows Updates
- Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update.
- Install any pending updates and restart your PC.
