How can I get MS Visual C++ reinstalled on my just bought computer?

Bought a new PC. Had issues with Adobe and MS Visual C++. Adobe tried to repair. They tried removing and reinstalling MS Visual C++. It would never completely boot up. Adobe removed MS Visual C++ and asking me to get Microsoft to reinstall the program.
