Subject: Request for Valid Installer of NPS Extension for Azure MFA (Server 2019)

Hello Microsoft Support Team,

I am currently trying to install the NPS Extension for Azure MFA on Windows Server 2019 Datacenter (10.0.17763).

Steps I followed:

1. Downloaded the installer from the official Microsoft page: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=54688

Unblocked the file and ran it as administrator.

Attempted manual extraction using 7-Zip.

Observations:

Installer fails with error: “This installation package could not be opened. Contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer package.”

Manual extraction shows only folders u0, u1, … with no DLLs.

After install, NpsExtnForAzureMfa.dll is missing from C:\Program Files\Microsoft\AzureMfa\Extensions\.

Impact: I cannot complete MFA integration with NPS for Azure-only users in RD Gateway.

Request: Could you provide a working installer for Windows Server 2019 Datacenter that includes all required DLLs (NpsExtnForAzureMfa.dll, MfaNpsAuthnExt.dll, MfaNpsAuthzExt.dll, adal.dll)?

Environment Details:

OS: Windows Server 2019 Datacenter, 64-bit

.NET Framework: 4.7.2 (build 461814)

NPS role installed
