Hello, I'm Jan. I'm sorry that you are experiencing this problem with HDMI audio. Try each of the following suggestions.

    • Press the Windows key + Ctrl + V This will open the Sound settings Then, set the " Display Audio (Intel(R) High Definition Audio,NVIDIA High Definition Audio or Amd High Definition Audio) " as your Output device.
    • If Display audio is not listed among the output devices, or if it's selected but still produces no sound, proceed to try to install the latest graphics drivers. The graphics driver is also responsible for HDMI audio output. Go to the PC manufacturer's support website.. Search for the exact model number or serial number. Then download and install the latest graphics driver. Restart the computer.
    • In most cases power reset can resolve these issues. Unplug the display/HDMI cable Shut down the computer Press the power button for 10 seconds to turn off then unplug the power adapter for 30 seconds then plug your adapter. then start your PC. Then try to plug in the HDMI cable. Select the HDMI audio as your output device.
