Unfortunately, once System Restore points are gone, they usually can’t be recovered. Windows automatically deletes them if:
System Protection was turned off (it wipes all previous points).
Disk space was too low for restore storage, so older points were cleared.
A major Windows update was installed, which often removes old restore points.
You can check if restore is still enabled by searching “Create a restore point” → System Protection tab. If it’s on, new points will be created going forward.
For now, the best option is to use other recovery tools like File History, Backup and Restore, or a third-party backup solution — but lost restore points themselves can’t be restored.
