In this article, you'll learn what you can expect from Clipchamp today and understand what's coming next on the roadmap. Clipchamp is an intelligent enterprise video experience in Microsoft 365 that empowers you to create, record, upload, discover, share, and manage video.
What is available today?
See the list of end user guides about the Clipchamp camera, video player, and homepage that introduce you to available features, how to use them and how to troubleshoot if you encounter any issues. This overview article is also a good starting point.
Getting back to videos
- The Clipchamp homepage is where to find your videos, video editing projects, and the clips shared with you. This is also where you can start creating, recording, and where you can upload new video files.
- The tutorials about custom page, site, and portal experiences for videos are where you can learn how to create destinations for SharePoint, Teams, and Viva to feature your videos.
- See how to feature videos in a Teams channel tab as a replacement for the deprecated Stream (Classic) channel tab.
- When searching for videos and meeting recordings, use Microsoft Search based on the metadata and transcript of video files.
- Videos are discoverable in recommendations and feeds from Microsoft365.com, the Work tab in Microsoft Edge, the files section in profile cards, etc.
Video creation & recording
Record your screen, webcam, and annotate with text, inking, & images via the Screen recording and Camera recording buttons at the top of the Clipchamp homepage, in the header menu of the Clipchamp video player page, or the recorder in the Clipchamp video editor.
Record yourself presenting your PowerPoint presentation including notes via teleprompter & placing your camera in a specific spot on the slides with Cameo.
