How to reopen closed tabs after Microsoft Edge Crash?? Reopen closed tab does not work.

I had about 15 tabs opened, and Microsoft Edge abruptly crashed.

Reopen closed tab did not work this time around, please fix. Hadn't accessed some tabs in a couple of days and I'm not going to remember which ones they were exactly in my history so the Reopen Closed Tab would be very helpful but like I said, it does not work this time around for some unknown reason.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Having the same problem here I guess, let me try to explain better...
so when Edge crashes or in my case, I have a power outage, usually when you open Edge again it greets you with a popup saying "edge was not properly closed..." and if I want to restore the tabs that weren't properly closed. Well, now it isn't appearing anymore, and when I use "shift+alt+t" it restores the tabs I closed BEFORE the crash or power outage, but not the ones that were open DURING the crash or outage.

We really need Edge to periodically - and reliably - save the current browser state so that it can be restored later. Maybe it does it periodically now, but not reliably.

    Hello AnonCat58,

When you say "Reopen closed tabs did not work this time around", did you not receive a popup to restore your tabs, or did you see the pop-up, but clicking on restore did not relaunch your tabs?

Also, were you able to reopen your tabs using K0MB suggestions?

I have the same problem, Edge crashed but still showed multiple processes in task manager but unable to pull any Edge process to foreground.

Restarted Edge did not get the prior session ended abruptly, restrore previos session tabs prompt.

Recently closed tabs just said no previous sessions / tabs to display!

Restarted Edge again, same results as above but DID get the restore previous session, however when clicked it did nothing!!

Not the first time this has happened, this bug should have been fixed LOOONG AGO!!
