Subject: Issue with Microsoft Copilot app after the latest update – seeking help or advice

Hello Microsoft Copilot Specialist Team,

I’m reaching out to report an issue I’m experiencing with the Copilot app for iOS and Android following the latest update (version 30.0.421001001). This update introduced a completely new interface and many exciting new features, but since installing it, I can no longer use Copilot with my personal Microsoft account.

Whenever I try to use the app, I receive an error message saying, "Try again and check your internet connection," even though my internet connection is stable and reliable. The issue seems to be specific to my account, as other users I’ve spoken with are not experiencing this problem. It seems that this technical issue might only affect a limited group of users.

I truly appreciate the work your team has done with the new Copilot version and am looking forward to taking advantage of the new features. I hope that you can investigate and resolve this issue soon so that those of us affected can get back to using Copilot smoothly.

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Best regards,

Robin Wagner

    Hi, Robin Wagner1

    Welcome to the Microsoft community.

Thank you very much for using Copilot and for reporting the issues you encountered. For product feedback like this, please use the feedback function within the Edge app to report the problem directly to the developers. This allows the developers to more directly receive user issues and attempt to fix them.

Additionally, you can check if the issue also occurs on the desktop version. If it does, you can click the Feedback button in the bottom right corner to report the issue as well.

    Best regards

I have several issues with the Copilot app on iOS

First the talk feature stops, even though you’re able to renew it by asking it to continue

Secondly, I have the premium subscription, but I’m being told that I’ve ran out of time and to get more time I should upgrade to pro

Third, sometimes if a notification from any other app comes in talking completely breaks and won’t work again until you go out and come back in

The fact that I can’t talk to Copilot about my previous text, conversations is absurd

Thank you for your response and for sharing your experience. It seems like we’re both encountering several issues with Copilot on iOS.

I can’t comment on how the voice feature works as it doesn’t seem to be available in my region here in Sweden, which is a bit strange. However, I can confirm that I’m also experiencing the problem where conversations suddenly disappear, making it hard to pick up where I left off. It’s frustrating, especially when you can’t follow up on previous chats.

It’s interesting that you mention notifications from other apps breaking the voice feature – while I don’t use it, that sounds incredibly frustrating. I really hope Microsoft addresses these issues, including the premium subscription problems you’ve been facing.

Thanks again for sharing your experience. It’s good to know I’m not the only one dealing with these challenges!

that's completely insane we can't use the talk feature. Without voice interaction copilot is pretty much useless to me in many other users as well.

I have a free version of Copilot but was told by several reliable sources even free users get unlimited used to vocal interaction with Copilot.

I download this update three days ago. Copilot said you have 30 minutes of chat ten I was promptly kicked out saying I need to buy more time which is completely absurd

here it is three days later and I'm still locked out with a message by more time. Additionally there was an update today after always three days. I thought OK great they're going to fix it. Download the update and nothing changed for Voice interaction. I mean what are Microsoft doing. Quality controlling their apps with botched instead of real engineers? Ridiculous!

Copilot IOS app and WIn11 PC Copilot in Edge browser, both don't do anything after submitting a question.

The little animation gear icon sits there and spins and i just asked a basic math question
