How do i turn on notifications in the NEW Teams app?

Ever since switching to the NEW Teams app, I no longer get notifications from Teams. I can't find the setting anywhere to turn on notifications.

Please note that in the new Teams, notifications are now fully served from Teams and all notifications preferences are handled within Teams Settings.

From New Teams >> Go to Settings >> Notifications and Activity >> Ensure that Notification is toggled-on

Hello! I would like to know how to turn on notifications per person on the New Teams, I couldn´t find this option in the notifications settings tab. Thanks in advance!

How do I turn on notification when a person has his status changed in the new teams?

All of my Notifications settings are toggled to "on" but still I don't get pop ups or the orange colour on my banner so I keep missing messages even when I am online. Are there any more steps I could take?
