Hotmail freezes when I try to open an attached PDF

I am having the EXACT same problem!!! can't ope any attachments and if I try it freezes my whole account- am sick of it . looking elsewhere as well ...does anyone have any suggestions ?

I've tried in Chrome and it seems to open fine there. Any ideas on how to fix it in Safari? (As I don't want to switch everything over to Chrome.) I understand it may be a browser issue and therefore not a Microsoft solution. Who do I contact for Safari tech support? Apple?

The other day day I had a notification on my hotmail account about memories. when I tried to open the page I landed on different Microsoft account page,

I had to log on and then I was able to access and download the photos and attachment in my one drive account.

Of course I was urged to try and buy Microsoft 365.

It seems to be that they have changed the access route, but I was just relieved to access and download.

However it is a bit of a roundabout route, with further privacy agreements etc.

Up until then I could download my attachments on my iPhone but not my iMac, in recent weeks, but not access one drive at all. in fact it looks like they have separated one drive from the iMac outlook version entirely, as it is not on mine anymore.!

Possibly because I have different versions of safari on iPhone and Mac??

I am experiencing the same issue. I cannot open my PDF attachments when I go into my hotmail through Safari browser and trying to open them freezes my entire webpage. I can open them without issues using Chrome. What is happening with Outlook email PDF attachments? Is Microsoft aware of this issue? Seems like many of us are encountering the same problem.
