For the last few months, my Hotmail account (accessed through Safari on a Mac) freezes up whenever I try to view a PDF attachment.
Any idea how I can fix this?

Having the same issue. This may be stating the obvious, but it seems as though I can still download the attachments and then view them. So, as long as the source is trustworthy this might work for you as a workaround.
But it is annoying to not be able to preview a document. Doesn't someone test the product before the release?
I have started to send all my contacts to use another e-mail address/not microsoft, hotmail or live accounts.
was really hoping there'd be a solution on this page. I've had to switch to Chrome as it works there.
I have the same problem. Click on any pdf attachment freezes the browser. I have to restart safari. Typically, the pdf can be previewed in an embedded frame. However, this seem to have broken recently.
