Something has happened to Onedrive that has changed it. I cant trust it to save correct documents now and it refuses to let me check my email on classic outlook on pop3 emails I have. Before One drive would save the data files with no issues and outlook emails where fine. Now one drive under its own desktop has recreated my documents folder and has moved everything over to this folder and the data files for oulook are not syncing because outlook is continues tyring to sync these data files and outlook tells me the data files are use? I have turned it off and now repairing office and may just turn off one drive ad remove it. Has anyone else experienced this?

I re-downloaded One Drive from Microsoft and its still not working. The only item that is syncing is my desktop. The path you stated C:\Users\Username\OneDrive\Documents does not sync up with my C:\Users\username\Documents. One drive doesnt acknowledge that I dont want pictures saved, I did the same for music and video and just have the documents and desktop for backups. I am still using Iclouddrive for that and because of it this wont sync the documents tab, see belowOne drive issue

Because of this both document folders are out of sync, the top folder is

C:\Users\username\Documents and the bottom folder is C:\Users\Username\OneDrive\DocumentsNot Synced

This is the only way Onedrive doesnt screw up my folders and creates and issues with my outlook pst files, when its out of sync. When I turned off the Iclouddrive before, One drive tried to control everything and changed the files around and thats when I experienced Outlook issues and folders missing files

    Dupes

This is what I mean about dupes, this path is C:\Users\username\Documents and Onedrive created a dupe and named it copy? Why? It did the same thing under path C:\Users\Username\OneDrive\Documents?

The past 7 months it never did this, I was able to use any original files under C:\Users\username\Documents and Onedrive would save them under C:\Users\Username\OneDrive\Documents with no issues or created copies.

To back up a folder to OneDrive, ensure that no other cloud service is backing up that same folder.

Folders are not synched and Yes Craig all my files where in C:\Users(Name)\Documents and this were the Outlook folders are at....One drive created its path C:\Users(Name)\OneDrive\Documents and also has the Outlook Folder as well but its not synced up. Even I have switched the photos to off, once I turn off Icloud-drive, One Drive will sync up all folders and screw them up. I will just leave it like this as the only location snyched up in real time is the desktop

    Outlook issue

If you want to remove files from the OneDrive folder, go to "Manage Backup" in the OneDrive settings and turn off syncing for all your folders. Then you can manually remove files from the OneDrive folder. Or you can move the entire Documents folder that is in OneDrive to C:\Users\username\Documents.
